Photographs or video

St John’s Malone recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all young people. In accordance with our child protection policy we will not permit photographs, video or other images of young people to be taken by our parish organisations without the consent of the parents/carers and the children themselves.

St John’s Malone will follow the “best practice” guidance issued by the Church of Ireland for the use of photographs, including use in our parish magazine and on our parish website, which can be found in Section 9.3.16 of the Safeguarding Trust document

St John’s Malone will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes they are intended. If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately, you should inform a “Safeguarding Trust” Parish Panel member immediately (Contact details on notices in our parish halls).
