  Introducing

Baby Basics is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby. There is a growing network of Baby Basics centres across the UK each staffed by a committed team of volunteers.

Baby Basics Belfast started in January 2017 and is run by the Church Army and the Diocese of Connor. It is situated in the Connect Base, Shankill Road.

Baby Basics Belfast works alongside health professionals from local Sure Start and Health Centres who refer families in need. We then support the families by providing them with essential equipment, clothing and toiletries.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our 2020 Parish Lent Project organised by the Sunday School and Mothers' Union is to support Baby Basics by collecting suitable items between Sunday 1 March and Sunday 22 March (Mothering Sunday).
