Jonathan Cockerill
	In September we welcomed to St John's Jonny Cockerill for a ten week placement from the Church of Ireland Theological Institute. Jonny is in his first year at the CITI training for full-time ordained ministry. Prior to this he had worked as a Special Educational Needs teacher in a variety of settings for fourteen years. He is married to Claire and they have a son called Adam. He is a member of All Saints' Church in University Street, Belfast (part of South Belfast rural deanery for which our Rector, Canon Robert Jones is responsible). During his ten week involvement in St John's he took part in various parts of our worship and got to know many of our parishioners.
			On Sunday 11 December our Rector in making a presentation to Jonny thanked him for his participation in our worship. In return Jonny thanked parishioners for their friendship which had made it an easy first placement. We give Jonny best wishes for his continuing studies.
