At the Select Vestry Meeting on 2 June 2014 members took the opportunity to acknowledge the services of the Revd Violet Johnston over the past few years. After retiring from her work as a Deacon in England Violet had assisted in St John's, and in particular by bring Holy Communion to a local residential Home. Canon Jones made a presentation to her and acknowledged her contribution to the life of the parish.
