Installation of Canons, St Anne's

Our Rector the Revd Robert Jones was installed as Canon of Connor in his stall in St Anne's Cathedral at a service of Evensong on Wednesday 11 September 2013.

Also installed at the same service were Archdeacon George Davison as Precentor; Archdeacon David McClay as Chancellor; the Revd Denise Acheson as Canon Treasurer; and the Revd Stephen Lowry as Canon of Down & Dromore.

The Installation Service was led by the Dean of St Anne’s, the Very Revd John Mann, the address was given by the Bishop of Connor, the Right Revd Alan Abernethy, and the blessing given by the Bishop of Down & Dromore, the Right Revd Harold Miller.

The two Archdeacons read the lessons and the intercessions were led by the other three Canons.
