A few days of sunshine then the rest with continuous rain did not stop the annual spruce-up of the church buildings and grounds. Cleaning, fixing, painting our premises and clearing from our grounds the number of trees and shrubs which had died in the previous year's severe frosts or had just become too large for their location,  the valiant band gathered together on the Saturday evening for the customary barbecue which was enjoyed by all despite the continuing rain.
