Canon Mann abseils down the Europa in aid of the

Church of Ireland Chaplaincy in Queen's University
On Saturday 12 May 2007 Bishop Millar, Revd Andrew Forster (former Chaplain), Revd Paddy McGlinchey (present Chaplain), Archdeacon Stephen McBride, other Clergy and supporters gathered at the Europa Hotel to abseil down the front face to raise funds for the Church of The Resurrection, the Church within the Church of Ireland Student Centre in Queen's University. The Church has recently been refurbished.
