Brian Mayne was present as editor on 23 February as the first copies of the 2004 edition of the Book of Common Prayer came off the production line at the Splichal works in Turnhout in Belgium. |

He was the guest of Sean O Boyle, publisher and also in the party was Canon Ricky Rountree, the Central Liturgical Officer. Also seen in the pictures are Paul Verwast, grandson of the founder of Splichal and its managing director and Veronik Van Gorp, energetic and efficient production controller. |
