METHODIST CHURCH IN IRELAND

SOUTH BELFAST CIRCUIT

 ST JOHN'S MALONE

The Exploring Group is a Joint Venture with South Belfast Methodists.

Each autumn the Exploring Group has a series of meetings on a chosen theme ending the series with a Fellowship Meal
The programme for the last series in Autumn 2007 was as follows:

Prophets and Prophecy

What do we understand by the word "Prophecy" and what is a "Prophet"? We will raise these questions and try to answer them by examining Biblical prophecy and its effect on the people of its time. Ultimately what is the meaning of prophecy for our time? We shall be lead by a distinguished panel of speakers who will, as usual, give us a
talk and then submit themselves to our questions and comments. This could prove to be one of the most fascinating and interesting "Exploring" sessions yet.  Do NOT Miss It !!!
